NIST'S National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP)

The National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) is the accrediting authority for Bulk Asbestos Fiber Analysis.
Texas Department of Health for Asbestos Analysis
AALI is licensed and authorized to perform as an Asbestos Laboratory in the State of Texas.
US Army Corps of Envineers

AALI has obtained certification through the US Army Corps of Engineers by satisfying the quality assurance, quality control, and data defensibility objectives.

State of Utah, Department Of Health

AALI is licensed and authorized to perform as an Environmental Laboratory in the State of Utah for specific parameters under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). AALI has been certified since 1993. This is important in that many clients are required to dispose of wastes at facilities in Utah, including EnviroCare hazardous waste disposal facility.

New Mexico Environmental Department

AALI has been a participant in the State of New Mexico's ED Microbiological program for the past eight years. AALI is also approved to perform drinking water compliance sample analyses pursuant to New Mexico Water Supply Regulations and is currently performing regular analyses for many water supply companies and associations in the state.

National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program
AALI has received NELAC certification through the State of Utah.
American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)
NIOSH Proficiency Achievement Testing (PAT) Program as administered by the American Industrial Hygiene Association, internationally recognized authority in industrial hygiene and the developing air-quality field.
Department Of Energy
  • AALI has satisfied and complied with the quality assurance, quality control, and data defensibility principles contained in the DOE-AL Model Statement of Work (SOW) for Analytical Services, applicable to DOE work conducted under the Albuquerque office of DOE operations, e.g. Los Alamos National Laboratories, Pantex Plant, Sandia National Laboratories.
  • AALI is now an approved Department of Energy laboratory having satisfied the Department of Energy Consolidated Audit Program (DOECAP) requirements under the National Analytical Management Program (NAMP).
United States Environmental Protection Agency
  • AALI has participated in the WS program and its successors since 1983.
  • AALI has participated in the WP program and its successors since 1984.
  • AALI has successfully completed the Environmental Lead Proficiency Analytical Testing (ELPAT) in conjunction with an A2LA audit to become certified to perform lead analysis on paint, dust and soil samples.
